Message	Me and a guy at my work with a modded 2001 Saleen S281 (VERY nice Mustang) are going to go drag racing to Lapeer on Saturday. I know his friends have some fast nice cars, and I'm going to try to get some of my buddies to go, as well as my brother. Should be some sweet cars. Just wondering if any Z guys wanna show up and have some fun with us. For the TT's, there should be some good competition - my bro's BPU Rx-7 TT, the modded S281, another modded Rx-7... You can go to [ www.LapeerDragway.com ] for more info about the track and it's location - it's not as nice as say, Milan, but the thing is, it's NOT CROWDED! I took literally 12 runs last time I went, taking back to back runs with rests in between. There IS NO waiting. You can actually practice your 1/4 instead of spending all your time watching other people race, it's great. This is where timz made his 12.6 run, and I made my highest traps, so it's a good track as well. Here's a pic of me and timz about to go onto the track last year: Anyone who wants to go, we're going to arrive at the track at around noon (when it opens), and race until 3 or 4. That should give us more than enough time to make as many runs as we want. It's $25/car for Test & Tune, and you WILL need a helmet, but I have 2, so I can lend someone one.
